Hello to all and I hope you and your families are healthy and safe. These are unprecedented times and the effects of the Coronavirus are devastating from a human, and business standpoint.
There are so many things to talk about during this time, humanity, politics, mental health, and the uncertainty of what our world will look like on the other end. Will we be able to eradicate the virus, so we can go back to normal, or what will normal look like when we come out of on the other side.
What is encouraging is the resilience of the people around the world innovating and coming up with new ways to do things. The support that I see for the frontline folks is amazing, all the companies that have changed to make the needed PPE’s (personal protective equipment), people making masks and giving them away to folks, and the restaurants making food while they are shut down for the frontline folks.
I want to express our gratitude to all the health care workers, grocery workers, meat packing folks, police, firefighters, our military, and everyone else that keep working so we can have some sort of normal life. They keep going to work knowing that they are sacrificing their lives so we can live ours. There are so many other people that are working that I didn’t mention, but we are grateful for those people too.
I am also grateful that I have a job, and lucky I don’t have to make a decision to go to work and increase my exposure to the virus.
So thank you all for your sacrifice to keep our world going and making it easier on the rest of us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!
In the meantime, we at NPI are making plans for our clients and future clients to help them with the new normal when we come out of this!
