Meet Josh Pass

Hello from Kent Washington.  Yes, we are still here.  We have started our newsletter again, and wanted to introduce Josh Pass.  Josh is one of our newer engineers, by newer, I mean he has been here for about a year.  He came over from anther IT company for a change of pace.  He has been a valuable addition to the NPI family.

Josh grew up in Texas, and his family moved here when he was in the 8th grade.  He attended Sedro Wooley High School.  His early aspirations were to play in the NBA, but he played one year of high school ball and decided to look into other fields.  He think about becoming an architect, but the computer bug caught his attention, and shall we say the rest is history.  He not only got into computers, but his senior year in high school, he began helping the school district with IT needs.  He would travel between schools to work on the network.

Upon graduation, Josh attended Bellingham Technical College and got his AA in computer network technology.  After Bellingham tech, he worked for about 4 years working as a technical assistant at a variety of cell phone companies.  He worked on cell phones before I-phone and Androids.  Do you remember Blackberry’s, and Palm Trios?

As you can see in the picture above, he has other humans with him.  Those would be his wife Jean, 9 year old son Connor, and 5 year old daughter Evangaline.  They have been together for 15 years, and met on Myspace.  As a family, they like to do family things, watch movies together, anything outdoors.  His son is into martial arts, and his daughter is into ballet.

When not fixing clients problems, he is a workout warrior going in everyday to the YMCA to workout at 4:30 a.m, plays video games on the PS4, modifying his new Mustang and truck.

If Josh could invite three people to dinner from anytime, he said his guest list would include, Dirk Novitzki (Dallas Mavericks legeng/Josh favorite alltime player), Ragnar Lothbrock (Viking), and Steve Jobs.  His menu would be chicken fried steak, fried okra, mashed potatoes and fried mac and cheese.

There is a lot more, but we have limited space and if you want to know more about Josh, just ask next time he is in your office, or on the phone.

Stay Safe!
